DESCRIPTION: Enjoy a quiet, shady, country atmosphere, on 50 wooded acres, at Camp Tonkawa Springs RV Park....nestled in the Piney Woods of East Texas, between Nacogdoches and Henderson. Nacogdoches...12 miles North of the park...the oldest town in Texas, features the Stephen F Austin University, and is the home of Foretravel RV manufacturer, with shopping and restaurants 7 miles from the park.

AMENITIES: Cold, Clear, Rock Lined Spring Fed Lake, Swimming, Two Clubhouses, Restrooms and Showers (Spring of 2003), Gravel Sites with Picnic Tables, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Gravel Sites, Tenting, Pets Welcome.

DIRECTIONS: From Highway 259, go 10 miles North of Nacogdoches to County Road 1087, then East 4 1/2 miles to County Road 153. Turn right (South) on County Road 153 for 100 yards to entrance.

Recreation USA Members pay $13.50 a night and may stay two nights per visit.  $5.00 add'l charge for each guest over two and over 6 years old. Not valid holidays.
