Area attractions include Lake Sam Rayburn, Lake Livingston, Steinhagen Lake, the Armadillo Museum, Alan Shivers Museum, Heritage Village, the Big Thicket National Preserve, the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation, antique shops, an art gallery and the Tea Room. Woodville is 6 miles from the park for restaurants and shopping. AMENITIES: “Jam Shack”, Game Room, Store, Restrooms and Showers (Handicap Accessible), Modem Hookup, Public Phone, Access To Onsite RV Repair Service, Grass Sites, Scenic Nature Trail With 49 Marked Points Of Interest, Horse Stables, Tenting, Pets Welcome.
