DESCRIPTION: Located 125 miles from Atlanta, Georgia, and 75 miles from Asheville, Rose Creek Campground....on 8 beautiful scenic acres....is just 5 miles from Franklin, known as the Gem capitol of the world....with 20 gem mines. Within 1/2 to 1 1/2 hours of the park are Smoky Mountains, waterfalls, whitewater rafting and tubing, Cherokee Indian Village, Santaland Amusement and Animal Park, and Harrah‘s Casino.

AMENITIES: Rock Mine, Trout Fishing, One Pavilion, Inground Swimming Pool, Volleyball, Gem Mine on Premises, General Store, Restrooms and Showers, Laundry, Ice, Picnic Tables and Fire rings at Sites, Playground, Basketball, Tenting Available, Pets OK.

DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 441 North, take Route 28 North to Bennett Rd. Turn left before the Little Tennessee River bridge and follow the signs to Rose Creek Road. Turn right Lyle Down Road, then left to campground entrance. From 441 S, take Sanderstown Rd to “T” road, cross bridge, turn right on Bennett Rd and follow signs to campground.

Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 a night, and may stay Sunday thru Wednesday.  $2.00 add'l charge per air during the months of June, July, and August.
