Hills Campground DESCRIPTION: Cherokee Hills Campground is nestled in the hills of Southeast Missouri....wooded, hilly, and secluded...about 15 miles North of Cape Girardeau Area attractions include the Brookside Park Veterans Memorial, Flickerwood Farms and Arena, Trail of Tears, Lake Boutin, Museums, and Civil War sites. Wal Mart is 9 miles from the park, with three convenience stores within 5 miles, and free Pizza Inn delivery. AMENITIES: Small Store, Ice, Beer & Wine Bar, Showers, Laundry, WiFi Available, Gravel Sites, Picnic Tables, BBQ, Fire rings, Gather Your Own Firewood, Split Wood For Sale, Tenting, Pets Welcome (MUST be on a leash at all times and if they poop, you scoop) DIRECTIONS: From I-55, Exit #105, and go North on US 61 for one mile to stoplight. Go North on MO 177 three miles to CR 607, then right for one and 7/10 miles to entrance. RENTAL UNITS: Mobile Home/Tipi MONTHLY/LONG TERM SITES: Yes Recreation USA Members will pay $17.50 a night. Add'l charge of $3.00 per guest over two. Rate applies to daily rate only. Discount is not valid during holidays. Reservations are accepted by telephone ONLY and require member number. No reservations accepted more than 30 days in advance. Discount does not apply to tent sites. If you do not wish to stay with us, you may dump and fill fresh water tanks for a fee of $5.00.
