Trail Campground DESCRIPTION: Beaver Trail Campground is located just 15 minutes from West Branch, and only 10 minutes from Rose City...in a great recreational area of trails (for off road vehicles and snowmobiles), hiking and biking, hunting and fishing,and close to Allsport Clear Lake and a game refuge. Golf courses are closeby, with outlet shopping 15 minutes away, and restaurants and a store one mile from the park. AMENITIES: Large Pond With A Beach, Modern Shower House, Dump Station, Grass Sites, Picnic Tables, RV Storage, Playground, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Tenting, Pets Welcome. DIRECTIONS: From Flint Area: Take I-75 North to Exit 212, the first West Branch Exit. Turn Right toward West Branch. Follow the I-75 Business Loop around to Fairview St. (forth traffic light). Turn Right on Fairview Street (Rite Aid store on the corner), and drive for 5 miles to Clear Lake Road. Turn Left and follow for 6 miles to Clear Lake. The road then turns into Grass Lake Road and we are located 1 mile down on the Right. From The North: Take I-75 (55) to St. Helen (Exit 222). Turn left and follow through St. Helen. Take the F97 Road turnoff at the edge of town, and follow 2 miles to County Road 28. Take a right and drive 5 miles to the "T" intersection. Turn right towards Clear Lake. The park is approximately one mile on the left. RENTAL UNITS: None MONTHLY/LONG TERM SITES: Yes Recreation USA Members will pay $12.00 a night for electric only sites, $13.50 for water and electric sites, and $10.00 for rustic sites, and may stay 2 nights each visit. Not valid on holiday weekends or from November 14 thru November 30th. |
