Camping & Mini Golf DESCRIPTION: Westside Camping & Mini Golf is located 3 miles from the heart of Wiscasset...“Maine’s “prettiest village”. Wiscasset offers a variety of antique stores, specialty shops, and restaurants, along a walking waterfront area. Boothbay Harbor is just 30 minutes from the park. Area attractions include the ocean beaches, forts and lighthouses, scenic boat rides, Wiscasset Raceway, antique shops, and art museums. Golf courses, restaurants, and factory outlets are closeby, with the state capitol just a 40 minute drive. AMENITIES: Swimming Pool, Red Caboose (Take-out & Ice Cream Shop), Small Necessity Store, Ice, 24 Hour Cold Drink Vending Machines, Restrooms and Showers, Dump Station, 18 Hole Mini Golf, Gravel Road, Level, Grassy Sites, Picnic Tables, Fire Rings, Tenting, Pets Welcome. DIRECTIONS: Going N on I-95, Exit #24 (Lewiston-Topsham), and go right on ME-196 for 2.4 miles to US 1 N. Take US 1 N for 18 miles, then left on ME-27/Gardiner Rd (just before the Wiscasset Town offices), for 3 miles. Park is on the left. Going S on I-95, Exit #26 (Richmond-Litchfield), take a sharp left on to ME-197E for 9 miles to US-27/Gardiner Rd, then 4.7 miles to park. Look for the Red Caboose.
