DESCRIPTION: Silver Creek Campground is located Northeast of Hammond, and just South of the Mississippi state line. Area attractions include the Varnado Store Museum, Smith Creamery, and the Washington Parish Free Fair (3rd week of October). There are 3 golf courses, shopping, and restaurants within 20 miles of the park.

AMENITIES: Silver Creek, Stocked Catfish Pond, Swimming Pool with Slide, Meeting Room, Game Room, Pavilion, Store, Restrooms and Showers, Ice, Asphalt Roads, Gravel and Grass Sites, Picnic Tables at Sites, Golf Cart Rentals, Horseshoes, Volleyball, Basketball, Four Wheeler, Bike, and Walking Trails, Planned Activities on Saturdays, Tenting, Pets Welcome.

DIRECTIONS: From I-55, Exit #61 (Kentwood/Liverpool), and go East on LA 38 for 15 miles, then right on LA 1055 for 1 4/10 miles. The park is on the left.

Recreation USA Members will pay $19.00/$20.00 a night 4/1-10/31 and may stay Sunday thru Thursdays. . From 11/1-12/31 and from 1/1-3/31 will pay $15.00 and $2.50 for 50 Amp. Add'l charge of $5.00 a night for each guest over 4, all year. Not valid on holidays or special event weeks.
