DESCRIPTION:  Cub River Lodge RV Park is located next to the beautiful Cache National Forest, just 9 miles up Cub River Canyon, near the town of Preston, in the Southeastern corner of Idaho. Preston is only 2 hours north of Salt Lake City, Utah and 1½ hours south of Pocatello, Idaho, on Hwy 91. Area attractions include the Oregon Trail Museum, Cache National Forest, the Napoleon Dynamite movie site, fishing, hunting, biking and hiking.  There are 10 golf courses within 60 miles, and shopping and restaurants in Preston.  The Deer Cliff Inn Restaurant is next door.

AMENITIES:  Wireless Internet, Gravel Sites, ATV and Horse Rentals are available, Pets Welcome, Tenting.  There are hundreds of miles of roads and trails for ATVs, Horses, hiking etc with the Cache National Forest 1/4 mile from the park.

DIRECTIONS: From the North or West take Interstate 15, south from Pocatello approximately 27 miles . Take the Downey or Logan Exit onto Highway 91, continue traveling on through Preston (watch the signs directing you towards Logan). Approximately 3 miles after leaving Preston, you will see a brown Forest/Recreational sign which reads: Cub River/Deer Cliff Recreation Area: Turn left onto Cub River Road, the Guest Ranch is only 9 miles up the canyon. Watch for the Signs at Deer Cliff.

Recreation USA Members pay $11.00 a night and may stay one night each visit. 10% discount on additional nights.   There may be a charge for use of the showers.
