DESCRIPTION: Stage Stop Campground is on 20 acres, and is located 45 miles West of Colorado Springs, and about 30 miles North of Cripple Creek. Area attractions include the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and...in Colorado Springs...Pike’s Peak, Garden of Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, North Pole/Santa’s Workshop, and the US Air Force Academy. The historic town of Cripple Creek offers casinos and mine tours.

AMENITIES: Restrooms and Showers, Dump Station, Gravel Sites, Shade Trees, Picnic Tables, Fire Rings, Playground, Water is available for Holding Tanks, Pets Welcome, Tenting.

DIRECTIONS: From Lake George, go West on Rt 24 to CR 77, then 7 miles Northwest on CR 77 to CR 211. Go East 1/3 mile on CR 211.

RENTAL UNITS: None                                      MONTHLY/LONG TERM SITES:  Yes

Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 a night, and may stay up to 4 nights per visit.  Call for space availability for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends.  $3.00 per day add'l charge for electric.  $2.00 per day add'l people over 4.
