DESCRIPTION: Sunvalley RV Resort is located about 100 miles east of Flagstaff, and is a good overnight stop, with new owners as of January 2016. The Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest are 12 miles from the park, and it is near the Navajo Reservation.  Shopping and restaurants are 6 miles away, in Holbrook.
