DESCRIPTION: The Chicken Gold Camp & Outpost is a relaxing, off the highway resort in historic Chicken (on Airport Rd), with an active gold mine, tours of the historic Pedro Gold Dredge, gold panning, recreational mining, hiking and river recreation.  This is a resort with personality and hospitality!

AMENITIES: The resort includes an internet cafe (serving homemade entrees), Expresso/smoothie bar, a gift shop offering unique hand-crafted Alaskan jewelry and gifts, cabin and kayak rentals.  A separate caravan area with pavilion and barbecue grill for large groups, Wireless Internet, tent sites, dump station, water and showers are all available.  Pets welcome.

DIRECTIONS: 66 miles North of the Alaska Highway, at Tetlin Jct (Hwy 5, East of Tok), then South 1/4 mile on Airport Road in Chicken.
